MMA Wellness Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

At MMA Wellness, we are committed to providing exceptional care to all our patients. To ensure availability and maintain high standards of service, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling policy:

1. 24-Hour Notice Requirement

Patients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient.

2. Late Cancellations and No-Shows

If a patient cancels or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fails to show up for an appointment, a fee of $30 will be charged. This fee compensates for the reserved time and resources.

3. One-Time Grace Period

We understand that unexpected situations may arise. Therefore, we offer a one-time grace period for all patients who cancel or no-show without providing the required notice. After this, the standard fee applies.

4. Clinic Discretion for Repeat Offenses

While we do not have a separate policy for multiple offenses, MMA Wellness reserves the right to defer a patient from future appointments at our discretion if repeat cancellations or no-shows occur.

5. Cancellation Procedure

All cancellations and rescheduling must be made by phone by calling us at (516) 566-0000. Cancellations via SMS or email are not accepted.

6. Exceptions

The only exception to this policy is for severe weather conditions that prevent safe travel. In such cases, the cancellation fee will be waived.

7. Payment and Outstanding Balances

Patients must have a zero balance before receiving further services. If a patient fails to pay the cancellation or no-show fee, MMA Wellness reserves the right to defer them from future appointments until the balance is cleared.

8. Policy Availability

This cancellation policy is available on our website and is posted on a flyer within our clinic for easy reference.
